What's not in the price.
Both tiers include the website itself. They don't include:
- Domain name — typically $10–25/year directly from a registrar like Cloudflare, Namecheap, Porkbun, or Squarespace Domains.
- Hosting — $0/mo on Cloudflare Pages or Netlify free tier. Most Lake County Web Co. clients pay nothing.
- Email ([email protected]) — $6/mo via Google Workspace or $4/mo via Zoho. Optional.
- Stripe / Square / PayPal fees — only on the $1,200 tier if you take payments. Standard ~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, paid to the processor, not us.
We're happy to walk you through the setup, but you own the accounts and the bills.
What “100% ownership” actually transfers.
At unlock, you receive the complete asset bundle — not a managed-platform tenant relationship:
- Source files — full HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts in a folder you can host anywhere
- Domain & hosting credentials — registrar login, DNS records, Cloudflare Pages or Netlify access (whichever stack we ship on)
- All written content — every word of copy, in editable form, yours to reuse or rewrite
- Licensed images — any stock photos used on the site are licensed in your name (or replaced with photos you own)
- Google Business Profile — claimed or created in your name, you become the verified owner
- Google Search Console — verified to your Google account, we hand off admin access
- Form & analytics access — Formspree, Plausible, or whichever tools we wire up are configured under your accounts
Translation: if you fire us tomorrow, the site keeps working and we have zero ability to take it offline.
Revisions & what’s included.
The flat price includes one round of pre-launch revisions — usually 5–10 specific changes (copy edits, photo swaps, color adjustments, section reorders) bundled together after you review the preview. Major rebuilds (new structure, new direction) are quoted separately so the math stays honest both ways.

At unlock, we accept Zelle (preferred), personal or business check, or direct bank transfer (ACH). No platform fees, no processor cut.
Optional: Lite Care — $99/mo
For owners who'd rather not think about the website at all. Opt-in only — most customers skip Care entirely and pay $497 once, never again.
